Scoring

Points will be scored for each qualifying fish caught as determined in the scoring system which follows below.
Points will be scored for attendance of monthly CFC meetings or other announced CFC events.
Points awarded per member will be 10 points per meeting and 5 points for each CFC sponsored event (such as charitable events/fundraisers).
Total points will be tallied by the Scorekeeper by boat, for all fish caught on that boat for any given fishing event.
Individual member scores will then be calculated by taking the total points scored by the boat divided by the number of members on the boat.
That is, all members on one boat will have the same score for any one event.
At the end of the annual tournament, bonus points will be given to the member who catches the largest fish by weight in each category.
Any exact ties in weight will be settled by the date the fish was caught.
The first fish registered by the Weigh Master will receive the bonus points in the event of a tie.
All decimals will be rounded up or down to the nearest whole number (up for >.5, down for <.5).
In the event that a boat catches fish and the point total for each member is less than 0.5, each member will receive 1 point.
Overall tournament point standings will be calculated by adding member’s point totals from all annual tourney fishing events and points for meeting attendance.
One lowest score of the 10 possible fishing events or meeting attendance will be dropped per member when determining final individual point score.
The tourney winner will be declared as the member with the highest final individual point score.
There will be no monetary rewards for final season standings.
The tourney winner will receive entitlement to one year’s bragging rights at the annual banquet in February.
